TranslateMe normally wires your meeting app's audio automatically when you press Start. If the app tells you "Automatic audio routing isn't available on this PC", or you're in a browser-based meeting, set the routing yourself with the steps below. Your session works exactly the same — you're just doing the wiring by hand.
Route your translated voice into the meeting
Open your meeting app's audio settings and set its microphone to the recording end of the virtual audio cable you chose as TranslateMe's translated-audio Output. Cable devices come in pairs — TranslateMe plays into one end (usually named an "Input") and your meeting app listens on the other (usually named an "Output").
Hear the far participant — and inbound translation
Keep the meeting app's speaker on your normal headphones so you can hear the far participant directly.
If you turned on Inbound Translation, instead set the meeting app's speaker to the playback end of the second cable pair — the one TranslateMe's Inbound tab listens on. TranslateMe then plays the translated far-participant audio to your headphones.
If your meeting app has no speaker picker of its own, set that cable as the Windows default playback device in Windows sound settings while the session runs, and set it back afterwards.
Undo it after the call
Manual routing isn't restored automatically. After the session, set your meeting app's microphone and speaker back to your normal devices.
